An interactive global map that compares your DNA to the DNA of people throughout the world.
Compare your DNA to the DNA signatures of more than 7,000 individuals throughout 130 countries covering 1,000 locations worldwide!
- The DNA signatures for each pin (the dots on the map) have been obtained from public scientific research studies.
- Your DNA is kept confidential and is not entered on the map. Other people cannot see your DNA on their map.
- Larger pins mean your DNA has greater similarity to an individual at that location.
- Smaller pins mean your DNA has less similarity to an individual at that location.
- Pin colors do not have any meaning regarding your DNA.
- All pins within a country will have the same color.
- Some countries will also have the same pin color as other countries simply because that color was reused.
- Click the 'Legend' icon in the top right corner of the map to view the map legend.

Interested in learning more about your ancestry? The new Genetic Ancestry with Haplogroups app performs comprehensive admixture analysis and provides an advanced report on deep ancestry. The report also includes the maternal haplogroup (using data from the mitochondrial chromosome) and, for males, the paternal haplogroup (using data from the Y chromosome). It's an amazing app!
Getting Started
This app generates an interactive global map that compares your DNA to the DNA of people throughout the world.
Once your DNA data is stored in your Sequencing.com account, purchase this DNA report, and then click the app's 'Start' button. You'll receive your report in about 30 minutes.
If your DNA data is not already stored in your account, you can either import your data from a DNA test you've already taken (such as from 23andMe or AncestryDNA) or you can order one of our DNA tests.
